I had taken so much joy in the years walking and roaming local peaks and further afield. Our lands are crisscrossed with so many footpaths, passed down knowledge and exploration constantly revealing new adventures.
Now with the massive upsurge of walking and fitness over the last year, a nation forced to explore home lands rather than abroad, land owners have taken to lacing the landscape with barb wire.
This reactionary painting is documenting my feelings to this new development.
